Comments

Mooney drivers share a unique and deeply seated characteristic - they like to go fast!  If a Cessna is akin to a Chevrolet and a Bonanza is akin to a Mercedes, then the Mooney is akin to a Porsche.  Mooneys are among the most efficient and structurally sound airplanes manufactured.  The low profile cross-section and laminar flow wings reduce drag to enable the fast air speeds typically unachievable in other manufacturers' airplanes with similar horsepower.  The tubular steel frame, acting as a cockpit roll cage, along with the wingtip-to-wingtip wing spar, make the Mooney airframe the strongest and safest among GA airplanes.

The M20C Ranger is the most common of the early Mooneys.  It is a very stable and efficient cross-country platform and is also perfect for those $100 Hamburger flights.  For those looking to step-up to airplanes with retractable gear and constant speed props, this M20C provides easy entry into complex airplanes.  It's nice paint scheme turns heads as it taxis up to the ramp, it flies great, and it has performance that won't break the bank.

Air-Mods, an authorized Mooney Service Center, has maintained this airplane for the last 30+ years, Reese Aircraft recently painted it, the interior was replaced in 2010, and the airplane has been hangared for the last 30+ years.  It is really priced right and ready to fly!
