Pre-purchase Inspections:
Air-Mods routinely performs pre-purchase inspections for buyers seeking an independent and objective assessment of aircraft across the mid-Atlantic area being considered for purchase . A pre-purchase, or pre-buy, inspection is an inspection that a seller and buyer agree to have performed (generally at the buyer's expense) to validate that the aircraft’s condition is representative of how it is advertised. The buyer and seller should agree up-front to the scope of the pre-buy inspection, who will conduct it, and what happens at the conclusion of the pre-buy inspection (i.e. – if the pre-purchase inspection validates that the condition is as advertised, does that mean that there would be "firm" deal or is the inspection only exploratory in which case the buyer can walk away from the deal). Our objective is to provide the buyer with an objective assessment of the condition of the airplane to minimize any bad surprises later.
