Comments
Beechcraft’s Bonanza series, the “Mercedes” of general aviation airplanes, was introduced in 1947 and has been in continuous production longer than any other airplane in history.  The Debonair, introduced in 1959 with a 225 hp engine, provided a conventional alternative to the original V-tail Bonanza and set the standard for the stylish and well-equipped aircraft for the private pilot.

In 1966, Beech introduced the improved 285 hp Debonair.  179 of these C33A models were produced through 1967, for a total of almost 1300 Debonairs, when the model evolved to the F33 and the name converged officially as the Bonanza.

This 1967 C33A has very low airframe time of 2,447 hours.  The engine runs strong and, with the Hartzell Top-Prop Conversion, it cruises smoothly between 160 and 167 knots.   With a King HSI, a backup Directional Gyro, a 3M WX-10 stormscope, and second Glideslope, it is a capable IFR platform.  The spacious panel provides plenty of room for upgrades with your favorite new technology.  The 3-axis Brittain B4 autopilot is currently inoperative but is still servicable.

The airplane just came out of annual inspection (March 23rd).  Compressions were good ranging between 69 and 74.

The interior is in very good condition and matches well with the exterior colors.  It has been hangared for most all of its life, and is a joy to fly.
