Beechcraft’s Baron evolved from the Beechcraft 95 Travel Air in 1961. The initial model 55 was soon followed by the improved A55 in 1962. The subsequent B55 became the definitive Baron model, setting the standard for light twins, and remained in production from its release in 1964 until 1982 with 3,155 airplanes being produced.
This Baron is in very good condition! It just came out of its annual inspection and is squawk-free. The engines run smooth and the airplane, with the S-Tec System 50 autopilot and Avidyne FlightMax MFD, is a very stable instrument platform. The paint and interior are in very good condition and the airplane, which typically flies to and from NJ and FL, is ready to fly on your next cross-country flight. |
