Comments
The huge STC’d cargo compartment sets this Aztec apart from the others!  It is carpeted and includes cargo tie-downs.  While certainly not approved for passengers, for size reference, Jessica is 5’6" and fits nicely…don’t you think?

This airplane is in excellent condition!  It has been hangared and has an excellent maintenance history.  With turbo-charging, full de-ice, a Garmin GNS 430W, stormscope, and co-pilot instruments, this airplane is well equipped and ready for your next mission!

Background:  The Aztec evolved in the late 1950’s as Piper wanted more out is twin-engine Apache. Following the addition of several upgrades, it officially went on the market in 1959 effectively ending the Apache’s run.

The earlier Aztecs featured the twin 250s, seating for six, and several other advances. The model was tweaked through the years and saw a rather long run until production ceased in 1982. The "F" model included improved systems and cambered wingtips and tailplane tip extensions.

Beyond its upgraded design, the Piper Aztec has several claims to fame that make it a popular model. It is noted for its endurance, stability, and load-carrying ability.  You really do need to see this airplane and see for yourself what you might fit in the cargo compartment!
