First introduced in 1967 to compete in the light four-place retractable market, the 180 HP Piper Arrow PA-28R-180 quickly established itself as a favorite among pilots for its speed, comfort, and handling. The aircraft underwent a number of upgrades over the years, including the addition of advanced avionics and improved aerodynamics. The 200 HP Piper Arrow PA-28R-200 was introduced in 1969 providing more power and speed. The airplane was redesigned in 1972 as the Arrow II stretching the fuselage by five inches, increasing the Hershey Bar wingspan by 26 inches, and increasing the stabilator’s span as well. The airplane remains a popular choice for flight schools and private pilots and its longevity and popularity are a testament to Piper’s commitment to producing high-quality, reliable aircraft that pilots can depend on for years to come.
This 1975 Arrow II well-suited for pilots wanting to step-up to complex airframes or existing complex pilots looking for a good cross-country airplane. The engine performs wells and the airplane flies great! |
